Opening of the 21er Haus during VIENNA ART WEEK!
VIENNA ART WEEK is proud to announce the opening of the “21er Haus”-museum as one of the highlights of our festival! Fully renovated and adopted by architect Adolf Krischanitz the former “20er Haus” re-opens on Tuesday, Nov. 15th. 2011.
VIENNA GALLERY WEEKEND 2011 during VIENNA ART WEEK!
We are happy to announce that the VIENNA GALLERY WEEKEND will take place during VIENNA ART WEEK for the first time! Exhibitions and additional program in the participating galleries will offer even more interesting events during the weekend from Fri, Nov 18th – Nov, 20th!
SUPERGLUE – artistic research during VIENNA ART WEEK!
In “SUPERGLUE”, Gerald Nestler and Gerald Straub question the conditions of today’s knowledge production and subject them to their own artistic research. The project during VIENNA ART WEEK 2011 takes up the currently intensively discussed intersection of theory and practice in visual art by reflecting on the knowledge production in science through methods of art – and thinking them further.
